"Eurogendfor" - the private army of the EU, ready to march to Greece

The Sign of the Times website has an interesting article on the EU's private paramilitary police force, Eurogendfor.  Anyone who reads this and isn't worried frankly isn't worth saving!

There are articles which the reader can only comment like this: "This cannot be true, I regularly inform myself and usually think I am up to date, but why do I not know about that?" - The following is one of those: If you think of gender - the synthetic newfangled definition of sex - in connection with Euro-Gender-For, you are on the wrong track. The name is a showpiece of the intellectual power of innovation of the French: Instead of EU rambo troops or Goldman Sachs bodyguards along the lines of Blackwater a "police"-private army has emerged. This way the Germans from Angela Merkel's faction may deflect the "indignation" that they trigger in the countries of the oh-so-liberal euro-Europe to the French. But at the latest upon arrival in Greece, this spin doesn't work any longer.

In Spain, the public protests increase daily. While the Germans recommend the southerners to get out of bed earlier, to take fewer holidays and to work harder, the wrath of the Greek people unloads on the streets of the country. There is seething unrest and turmoil everywhere, people all over Europe are in fear of civil war-like conditions, triggered by the crisis. That is known in the EU headquarters too and appropriate provisions have already been taken.

For the first time now, the EU's private army, making ready for departure to Greece, is prepared for deployment. Hardly any European knows this secret force that goes by the name of "Eurogendfor". The command of this more than 3,000-strong special intervention group is located in Vicenza, Italy. Originally the former French defense minister Alliot-Marie pushed the creation of this force after there had been more and more riots in France with street battles and lootings caused by young Muslim immigrants. "Eurogendfor" is everything: police, criminal police, army and intelligence. The responsibilities of these troops are practically unlimited. It is to ensure, in close cooperation with European military personnel, the "security in European conflict areas." Their job is especially to crush uprisings. More and more EU states join "Eurogendfor".

Cameron's EU referendum will be on reform, not membership

The Tories are still drip feeding the press with vague suggestions of an EU referendum whilst making it clear that it will be a referendum on "reform", not leaving.

It will demonstrate very clearly that it is the Conservative Party at the next election that will be offering people a real change in terms of Europe and a real choice about that change.

I don't think it's right to aim for a status like Norway or Switzerland where basically you have to obey all the rules of the single market but you don't have a say over what they are.

There can be no "real change" other than the EU taking more sovereignty and money off us.  As for having access to the single market but not having a say on the rules - that is just a nonsense argument and he knows it.

Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Bosnia, Chile, Columbia, Croatia, Egypt, Faroe Islands, Iceland, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Mexico, Montenegro, Morocco, Norway, Palestine, Peru, San Marino, Serbia, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Tunisia and Turkey all have access to the EU's single market via their own Free Trade Agreements with the EU but they haven't had to surrender their sovereignty to the EU, they don't have to give the EU billions of pounds a year to have access to it and they don't have to hand control of their legal system to the EU.

Antigua & Barbuda, Argentina, the Bahamas, Barbados, Bahrain, Belize, Brazil, Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Indonesia, Jamaica, Kuwait, Laos, Malaysia, Oman, Paraguay, Philippines, Qatar, St Lucia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, St Vincent & the Grenadines, St Kitts & Nevis, Suriname, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay and Vietnam are all in the process of setting up Free Trade Agreements with the EU.  They don't seem to have any problem with the idea of having access to the single market without setting the rules.

We are talking about a matter of trust. He sits there and thinks his great extended tease about this forthcoming Europe speech is entertaining, it is not.

No matter what he says now, after so many broken promises, so many 'cast-iron guarantees', can anybody honestly believe that he will be telling the truth this time?

The simple fact is that he wants us to stay in the European Union no matter how it is configured.

We have to wonder who to believe, Mr Cameron or the entire European political class, who say that the Prime Minister's promised tough negotiations are just impossible.

Of course we must talk to our European friends, of course we must do business with them, but we must do so from a position of strength, rather than weakness.

Peter Luff MP on the EU

Conservative MP for Mid Worcestershire, Peter Luff, has written the following in his local newspaper:

My New Year resolution is to speak out on one of the most important issues affecting all of us, not just in Droitwich Spa aand Worcestershire, but in the whole country – our relationship with the European Union write Peter Luff MP.

A dangerous view is developing that we would be better off out. This is nonsense and it’s time for the sane voices to start speaking up.

The jobs, influence and peace that the EU has brought are real and tangible. The current Eurozone problems would affect us whether or not we were in the EU, but thank heavens we stayed out of the Euro ourselves. In a recent survey the three main reasons for the disillusion with the EU were immigration, the budget and human rights legislation. Let’s take them in turn.

People have a point on immigration – the Labour party has now apologized for not introducing the same controls asa the rest of Europe at the time of the big eastern enlargement. The very sudden influx was not the EUs fault – it was the last government’s.

On the budget, current estimates suggest that our net contribution – the difference between what we pay in and what we get back – in 2012 will be around £8 million, which sounds a lot of money. But in the same year we will have spent more than £200 billion on welfare payments, over £90 billion on education and around £110 billion on the NHS. So the total cost of the welfare state last year will be about £400 billion – and expenditure on the EU is around 2% of that.

Finally human rights laws are absolutely nothing to do with the EU – they are the result of a totally separate institution called the Council of Europe. It’s about time to start busting the myths and reminding the country which side our bread is buttered on

And the Tories tell us to trust them to do the right thing where the EU is concerned?

Guardian publishes Argentinian claim to the Falklands

The Guardian has given President of Argentina, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, a platform to reiterate Argentina's claim to the Falkland Islands by running a full page ad consisting of an open letter to David Cameron claiming that "Argentina was forcibly stripped of the Malvinas Islands".

The letter reads as follows:

Buenos Aires, January 3rd, 2013

Mr Prime Minister David Cameron,

One hundred and eighty years ago on the same date, January 3rd, in a blatant exercise of 19th-century colonialism, Argentina was forcibly stripped of the Malvinas Islands, which are situated 14,000km (8700 miles) away from London.

The Argentines on the Islands were expelled by the Royal Navy and the United Kingdom subsequently began a population implantation process similar to that applied to other territories under colonial rule.

Since then, Britain, the colonial power, has refused to return the territories to the Argentine Republic, thus preventing it from restoring its territorial integrity.

The Question of the Malvinas Islands is also a cause embraced by Latin America and by a vast majority of peoples and governments around the world that reject colonialism.

In 1960, the United Nations proclaimed the necessity of "bringing to an end colonialism in all its forms and manifestations". In 1965, the General Assembly adopted, with no votes against (not even by the United Kingdom), a resolution considering the Malvinas Islands a colonial case and inviting the two countries to negotiate a solution to the sovereignty dispute between them.

This was followed by many other resolutions to that effect.

In the name of the Argentine people, I reiterate our invitation for us to abide by the resolutions of the United Nations.

The history of the Falkland Islands is well documented and well known.  The islands were discovered and in 1592 by an Englishman and visited again by an English ship in 1594.  The name "Falkland" came about in 1690 when the Falkland Sound was named the Falkland Channel by an English naval officer after the Viscount Falkland who was financing their expedition.

A French privateer established the first colony in the Falklands in 1764 and named the islands Îles Malouines.  The Spanish name Las Malvinas is a translation of the French name.  A British military expedition arrived in the Falklands in 1765 and formally claimed the islands.  A permanent British colony was established in 1766.

The Spanish navy purchased the French-owned colony in 1767 and in 1770 took a military force to evict the British settlers from Port Egmont and later that same year the British navy retook the settlement.  The armed forces withdrew from Port Egmont in 1774 when it became apparent things were going to kick off in America and left a plaque reiterating British sovereignty over the islands.  British seal hunters used Port Egmont as a base for four years until the Spanish evicted them.  Spain administered the islands for another 35 years until they too had to withdraw when their South American colonies got restless.  The seal and whale hunters returned following the departure of the Spanish.

A Spanish pirate from the United Provinces of the River Plate (a territory fighting the Spanish for independence that modern-day Argentina was part of) sought refuge in the islands and later claimed them.in 1820.  A Spanish settlement consisting mainly of German settlers from Buenos Aires was established in 1829 and came to an end in 1831 when the newly-independent United States of America sent a ship to recover the American boats that the Spanish pirates in the settlement had taken.  The Argentine pirate Luis Vernet remained on the island as its administrator.

The British navy sent an expeditionary force in 1833 to put an end to Spanish and Argentine claims over the islands.  Vernet was expelled and the colony put under the administration of his British deputies.  Some of the Argentinians left in Port Louis went postal in 1833 and the other inhabitants had to be rescued by the British navy.  The first settler sent from the UK arrived in 1834 and full settlement started in 1840.  Argentina invaded the Falklands in April 1982 and surrendered in June 1982.

Fernández de Kirchner's letter is factually incorrect and the Guardian is quite probably breaking the law by allowing a foreign power to lay claim to British territory in its paper.  The Falkland Islanders have repeatedly confirmed that they wish to remain a British overseas territory.  The British government can knock this on the head once and for all by having the talks about sovereignty that Argentina wants and simply saying "no".

Heathen bastards in Leicestershire?

Maybe it was one too many New Year celebrations of the fermented variety or maybe he just didn't engage his brain before putting his fingers on his keyboard but this delightful New Year's message has appeared a Leicesterchire councillor's blog:

2013 will be a bad year for the fat wallet Tories in N W Leicestershire and rightly so. Their party is in turmoil and infighting is causing problems for their top tier. They have no answer to Labour who have no answer to anything and will be fielding a bunch of second raters in May. The fact that the electorate are largely ignorant of the candidates and too lazy to find out is Labour's strongest, in fact only policy. Definate losers will be in Forest & Measham, Ibstock & Appleby and extemely likely Whitwick & Thringstone Thank you both for your Christmas cards but I know you are heathen bastards grovelling for my vote so you have no chance of that. 1987 revisited but with Labour taking seats back and achieving absolutely nothing again, just as in the previous 33 years under them.

Cllr Partner's register of interests confirms that he is a member of the English Democrats.  The entire NW Leics branch of the BNP switched to the English Democrats before this year's local elections helping to complete the BNP takeover of that party.

40 years of EU membership celebrated by 10's of people

Today is the 40th anniversary of the UK's membership of the EU - an anniversary that has so far been celebrated only by the treasonous Lib Dems.

There is no mention of the anniversary of Ted Heath's grossest act of treason on the Number 10 website, on the Foreign & Commonwealth Office's "Europe" website ... not even a mention on the EU's website.  If it wasn't for the almost universal criticism of the EU, lamentation of our membership and discussion of the fraud, corruption and deception that surrounds it most people wouldn't even know there was an anniversary today.  The Lib Dems have tried to make something of it of course but frankly nobody pays the slightest bit of attention to what they say any more.

Let's mark 40 years of being attacked and pillaged by the EU by replacing the Tories as the second party in the UK.

West Mids PCC candidate joins UKIP

Independent Police & Crime Commissioner candidate for the West Midlands, Mike Rumble, has joined UKIP.

Mike received nearly 13,000 votes in the shambolic PCC election earlier this year.

UKIP's West Midlands PCC candidate, Chairman of UKIP Dudley and PPC for Dudley North, Bill Etheridge, said:

I am delighted to announce that Mike Rumble who stood as an independent in the Police and Crime Commissioner elections in the West Midlands (polling in excess of 12k votes) has joined UKIP. Mike is a man I have gained huge respect for since meeting him on the campaign trail and I am sure he will be a major boost to UKIP.

New UKIP branch in Bolton

A former Tory campaigner, fishmonger and inventor has launched a brand new UKIP branch in Bolton today.

Geoff Kay campaigned for the Tories in the 2010 election and in doing so realised that it was UKIP that he was closer aligned with, not the vichy Tories.  The losing Tory candidate he campaigned for in Bolton West in 2010, Susan Williams, blamed her loss (by just 92 votes) on UKIP.

Nigel Farage has been confirmed once again as Politician of the Year 2012, this time by readers of MSN UK.

Farage has already been voted Politician of the Year by Politics UK and named Man of the Year by the Sunday Times.

Farage voted Politician and Man of the Year

Nigel Farage has been voted Politician of the Year by Politics UK and Man of the Year by the Sunday Times.

This year has seen one MP escape a prison sentence for expenses fraud thanks to her fragile mental health (poor lamb) and another fined and given a curfew for headbutting another MP in a House of Commons bar and telling the police "you can't touch me I'm an MP".  Cameron has been caught lying to the public repeatedly, Clegg has openly defied public opinion and Miliband has finally admitted that Labour deliberately and recklessly allowed unsustainable immigration on flawed ideological grounds.

On the continent, former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi was convicted for tax fraud but will probably never go to prison because he has diplomatic immunity, the Greeks and Spaniards have been violently protesting against their governments, Spain has been bankrupted by its regional governments and the Dutch government collapsed when Geert Wilders withdrew his party from the ruling coalition.

Whilst 2012 for the leaders of the LibLabCon and most of the EU can be summed up with the words fraud, incompetence and corruption, the worst accusation thrown at a UKIP politician is europhile Belgian traitor Guy Verhofstadt describing Nigel Farage as the "biggest waste of money in the EU".

Under Farage's leadership this year UKIP has gone from fourth to third party in the UK, gained an additional MEP and Lord from the Tories, recruited two senior officers from Conservative Future, welcomed many defecting councillors from the LibLabCon and Greens and seen the best election results in the party's history.  If anyone but Farage had won, it would be a travesty.

Even the Iranians are scared of UKIP

Iranian state media outlet, Press TV, has made a sad attempt at a hatchet job on UKIP over Nigel Farage's comments on immigration.

Press TV's man in Westminster

Under the heading "UKIP leader begins to show his true face" and accompanied by a picture of Farage with the expelled former member Kim Gandy who Press TV describe as a UKIP spokeswoman, the article describes UKIP as "far right" and says that the party "is believed to promote racism by choosing fascist members" and citing Gandy as an example.

Press TV reinforces its lack of credibility even further by citing EDL News' description of Gandy - who they wrongly identify as a UKIP member and spokesperson - as the "angriest far right extremist" they've ever had.  Although their description of Gandy is probably not far off the mark, the EDL News website is an anti-EDL website.

But what really speaks volumes about Press TV is the fact that they provide a platform to the Islamist far left extremist, George Galloway MP.

UKIP wins Lancing by-election with nearly 50% of vote

We missed this pre-Christmas piece of election news: UKIP candidate wins big in Lancing by-election seat.

UKIP candidate, Dr Sidney Hilsum, beat the Conservatives and Lib Dems in a by-election for Lancing Parish Council, taking almost 50% of the vote.  Cllr Dr Sidney Hilsum becomes the third UKIP councillor on Lancing Parish Council, along with Cllrs Jean Turner and David Bamber.

The council controversially didn't send polling cards to electors resulting in a turnout of just 10%.
