BNP shock win in Boston

Well, it's a good job I'm not a betting man because I'd have been out of pocket if I'd put money on the prediction I made yesterday for the by-election in Boston.

The BNP somehow managed to win the seat with just 2 votes shy of a 50% majority over the Independent Boston Bypass candidate. UKIP didn't, as predicted, come last - that dubious honour fell to the Lib Dem candidate who trailed the UKIP candidate by one vote with 23 votes.

As disappointing as it is, the BNP man got the most votes and the wishes of the electorate have be respected although they might find his local knowledge a little lacking:
When questioned about immigration he said: I think the people of Fenside and the people of Boston have said tonight that immigration is at capacity here
As we said yesterday, Boston is 98.4% white. That means that with a population of 58,400, less than 950 of them are black or minority ethnic.
