The other day he had a BNP leaflet through the post and was so disgusted with the content he phoned them up and left a message on their answerphone to complain. But rather than respond to the complaint, they have instead recorded his mobile phone number and sent him a text message asking for money!
Let's see what the Information Commissioner, Electoral Commission and OFCOM might have to say about this ...

LOL. He shouldn't have been so sensitive about the truth encountered in one of our leaflets, should he?
An interesting take on events. So it's his own fault that the BNP broke the law because he complained about the racist filth that landed on his doormat?
What "racist filth" would that be? More likely he was annoyed that he's received BNP literature, and there's no sign of UKIP canvassers.
What law has been broken? Bearing in mind that he made contact first.
You obviously haven't been round here - UKIP is everywhere, there is no sign of anyone else.
What law has been broken? Try the Data Protection Act for a start - harvesting data without consent and using data for a purpose other than for which it was provided. He left his phone number in relation to a complaint but that phone number was then recorded elsewhere and used for purposes other than that for which it was provided - viz. for the promotion of the BNP and soliciting donations - without the prior knowledge or consent of the person who provided the phone number.
Before you argue on the DPA, please bear in mind that I'm a data controller for a company and first taught data protection about 12 years ago.
I know nothing about the BNP because I have not read any of their literature, and have no intention of doing so.
In my opinion the real danger to Britain's democracy is the treacerous Lib/Lab/Con.
At various times they have all supported handing our sovereignty over to the EU.
The Conservatives now claim to be sceptical of the EU, but they were keen enough to pass plenty of EU treaties, while they were in power for 17 years.
