Batley & Spen MP, Jo Cox, murdered

Labour MP for Batley & Spen, Jo Cox, has died after being stabbed and shot in her constituency.

There are reports of the man shouting "Britain First" as he attacked her although this has yet to be confirmed.

The suspected attacker has been named as Thomas Mair by locals and police forensics are searching his house and garage.
