Convicted IRA terrorist and former Deputy First Minister of the Northern Ireland Assembly, Martin McGuinness, has been shortlisted for a Tipperary International Peace Award.
This isn't a joke.
Former winners of the award include Nelson Mandela, Ban Ki Moon and Benazir Bhutto. Even considering this terrorist is an insult to the memory of the estimated 3,700 people murdered by the IRA.
