New Supreme Court set up in London

A new Supreme Court has been set up in London .

This will replace the House of Lords as the highest court in the land.

Surely this is a change to the British Constitution.

I thought major changes to the British Constitution required a referendum.

    Highest court in the land my arse. Unless you take it in the strictest sense in that it's the highest court physically located on this island. Any decision by the supreme court can be appealed to the EU courts which makes them the highest courts.
