Lord Pearson of Rannoch

Those who read the threads of the members forum will recall I sent this message to Lord P,

Why have you not made any comment on the terrible abuse of Nikki Sinclair by Nigel Farage and other senior party officials. Do you lead UKIP or not.

Nikki says you fully supported her decision to leave the EFD, if true, why have you not called a halt to the on going character assassination.

Name: Robert Feal-Martinez

Email: r.feal-martinez@btconnect.com

I have today received a reply which I cannot disclose other than to say the possibility of justice being done exists. I cannot say more than that at this time, in deference to a request in the email.

I am content at this time, but will report as soon as I am able to.

Knowing that she would have to join a grouping before she stood as an MEP as part of the deal, if she really had integrity she shouldn't have stood for the post if she felt so strongly about it.

Nikki has gotten what she wanted and left the EFD so she must accept the consequences and so must her supporters.

Why is it that the vast majority who attack Nikki wish to be anonymous, does that not say something about them, rather than Nikki and her supporters.

Well once again it seems that the only people sword to secrecy are the general membership.

The information now on the members website was 'sub judice' according to my email, which of course mentioned the hearing on the first.

Amazing how it becomes public knowledge within hours. No leaks in the NEC of course.

errr.. A number of people have made the accusation that Sinclaire knew what she was letting herself in for when she stood.

I guess a lot of UKIP members aren't having their turn with the brain cell.

At the June EU election noone knew who would be elected in their various countries and know one knew which parties would be represented in the EU parliament with whom to form an EU grouping.

Obviously anonymous at 13:05 has crystal balls

Time to calm down folks! People who write blog posts on this site should ask themselves the following questions:
1. Are you still a member of UKIP?
2. Do you wish to see UKIP win any seats at the next general election?
3. Do you think voters care what group an MEP joins?
4. Should this site provide its visitors with an insight into UKIP's domestic policies?
5. Should this website provide all kinds of minor parties that are jealous of UKIP's recent success, e.g. BNP & UK1st with merriment and ammunition to say UKIP is infighting?
6. Do you wish to participate in the creation of a political vacuum that is filled by the BNP and sundry nutters?
7. When you speak to voters, do you actually find out what p**ses them off about the society around them?
8. Do you accept that some voters despair at the liberal consensus in politics and go to minor parties like UKIP because they expect it to stand up for British values?
9. Do you now promise to concentrate on the impending general election campaign and stop going on about an issue many voters don't care about?
10. Would you leave UKIP if their policies are really beyond the pale for you, so the party can speak with a united voice?

There is lies the problem, we read or hear of UKIP's policies in the media, the members are never consulted, we have no opportunity to say 'this or that' is not a good idea, and yet we are expected to go out on the streets and sell the policies.

We also read our policies on non aligned websites, and when looking on UKIP's the policies aren't there.

Supporting UKIP should not be a one way street, that is how it is currently perceived by many long serving, hard working activists, that is not their fault it's the 'Management'.

"know one knew" ?
"noone knew" ?

Maybe you should refrain from brain cell comments.

@Libertarian

A typo?

You mean a typographical error (often shortened to typo) is a mistake made in, originally, the manual type-setting (typography) of printed material, or more recently, the typing process. The term includes errors due to mechanical failure or slips of the hand or finger, but excludes errors of ignorance. ?

For how long do UKIP expect the UK to have *any* MEPs ?

If we are soon to be out, then arguing over who is a member of what grouping seems a bit daft.

If we are *not* soon to be out then we need a new strategy...
