Only 1 in 5 UKIP voters consider EU a "key issue"

Once again dispelling the myth that UKIP is a single issue party, a polling company finds that only 1 in 5 UKIP voters consider the EU to be a "key issue" facing the country.

So what attracts the other 4 out of 5 UKIP voters to the party?  Why not take a look at the most comprehensive manifesto of any UK political party and find out for yourself?

I see this as a wholly positive finding, proving that UKIP isn't a single-issue party. Personally, combating the climate madness, which is now killing pensioners, is my #1 reason for supporting UKIP.

I'm puzzled; but that could be because we don't know what questions IPSOS asked, nor in what context. As a UKIP member I think that almost all of our major problems are that because we're in the EU; a signatory to the Maastricht and Lisbon Treaties and all that those mean. Any clarifications welcomed.

They ask users to write in what they think are key issues facing the country without any prompting.
A lot of questions are posed in order to get one kind of answer just like the question for the referendum in 1975. Would the electorate have voted for a United States of Europe then? Most unlikely. The general apathy towards politics and politicians has mainly arisen because no one trusts them any more, I'm one of those. The common bond between ConLabLIB is self centred arrogant greed. Keep going UKIP, but don't play their games and stick to your principles.
