Amjad Bashir report to police for "systematic financial fraud"

Amjad Bashir, the Yorkshire MEP who scurried back to the Tories after being suspended by UKIP over allegations of financial irregularities, has been reported to the police for "systematic financial fraud".

A number of claims have been levelled against Bashir including submitting false claims for travel tickets, hotel rooms and hire cars using a firm of consultants based in his office that his dodgy associates are involved with.

Nothing has happened or will happen. Bad enough that our MEPs and MPs are thieves, but they don't get prosecuted. If a young mother cheats on the benefits, or steals food from a shop and gets caught, she will be prosecuted. These fraudsters steal expenses from the public purse and continue with business as usual. All of his expenses for the past 2 years should be audited. For almost certain he will be found to be a serial thief. Of course, he is a minority so any sort of pursuit will be called racist, which seem to be the usual hiding place of these third world thieves. The bigger pity is that at the next election, the only choice the public have is between liars and thieves representing different political parties. Social unrest must be coming, it is the only action the public have to stop this.
