The Liberal Party in Cornwall have withdrawn their three general election candidates in the county and urged their members and supporters to vote and support UKIP in May.
After getting feedback from their members, the Liberal Party have written to Dr Robert Smith, the UKIP candidate for Camborne & Redruth, informing him that they are withdrawing their candidates.

Reading the newspaper report it says that "The email adds their belief that UKIP and the Liberal Party are the only two parties standing in the Cornish constituency with identical views on Europe."
I thought they were diametrically opposite, UKIP wants out whilst the LibDems want to stay in. But perhaps things are different in Cornwall!
