Farage loses appeal against damp rag fine

Nigel Farage has predictably lost his appeal against the fine unelected President of the EU Parliament, Jerzy Buzek, gave him for calling Herman Van Rumpy-Pumpy a damp rag.

The ruling that his appeal was inadmissible was based on a technicality and he is now considering an appeal to the EU Court of Justice - the parent court to the EU general court that made made today's ruling.  He is arguing that it is a matter of free speech and that he should have immunity in the EU Parliament as all the crooks, con artists, communists and Nazis do.

It is vital that the freedom of speech of all elected members be upheld in parliament. Freedom of speech is not just for supporters of the EU's political union.

Sadly the damp rag tea towels that were being sold in honour of Farage's altercation with the wet brussel sprout are out of stock but I'm sure more could be made if there was enough call for them.

Conspiracy to deny a referendum

The subject of a referendum on EU treaty change is dividing the Conservative & _٨^European Unionist Party, with high profile Tories including government ministers on one side saying we must have a referendum and demand the "repatriation" of powers from the EU and; David Camoron, Ken Clarke and Chris Grayling on the other saying we can't have a referendum and they won't be trying to "repatriate" any powers.

The Tories held up their EU Bill as proof of their eurosceptic credentials - a law to give the proles a referendum when the EU tries to take more power off us.  Back in February I said that the chances of getting a referendum out of the EU Bill was "somewhere between zero and um ... zero".  I'd say the chances right now are even lower!

Yesterday Ken Clarke confirmed what Chris Grayling said last Thursday: that saving the €uro is more important than national interest and that there will be no attempt to "repatriate" powers from the EU.

Wee Willy Vague made the unexpectedly frank admission in January that we need a law to protect our democracy from the EU and if the Express' sources are correct, he was absolutely right.  It appears that France and Germany are conspiring to ensure that if Cast Iron Dave manages to grow a backbone and demands something in return for signing their treaty, they will ensure it is blocked.

They needn't worry though, he's not going to make any demands and he's already ruled out a referendum before he knows what decisions are going to be made.  The Merkozy Borg have said they will keep any treaty changes to a minimum so a referendum in the UK can be avoided and Herman van Rumpy-Pumpy has drafted his own proposals for changes to a protocol attached to the Lisbon Treaty instead of a treaty change which means that yes, you've guessed it, a referendum can be avoided.

There is a conspiracy to deny us a referendum from the traitors that rule us to the corrupt EU officials that pull the strings inside the ConDem coalition.  There's only one way to get a referendum on the EU and that's by voting UKIP at every opportunity.

EU insists on vetting UK budget before parliament

The EU President, Herman van Humpy-Pumpy, was in Downing Street yesterday to tell David Camoron what he is and isn't allowed to do with the budget.


Make yourself at home President van Rompuy, sir.Finance Ministers from other EU provinces have, according to the BBC, "moved closer to agreeing to allow other governments to study their annual budgets before they are seen by national parliaments". The UK government has apparently said no but the EUrocrats are saying that a compromise has been found which will be interesting to see because it is illegal to disclose the budget to the European Empire before it is presented to parliament.

Whether Camoron and Georgy Porgy cave in to the European Empire and break English law to satisfy the demands of their EU masters will be a good indication as to whether we can expect the ConDem government to honour their promise not to give any more power to the European Empire.  They have already broken their promise to repatriate powers from the European Empire so it doesn't look too promising, does it?

Naughty Nigel

Nigel Farage has been to "the headmasters office" as he calls it to receive his punishment for telling Herman van Rumpy-Pumpy he has all the charisma of a damp rag.

His punishment for addressing the damp rag without due deference was €2,890 - the maximum fine that the unelected President of the European Empire can hand out to an MEP.

Suitably chastised, Nigel immediately called a press conference and is on his way to do an interview with BBC Radio Kent.

I wonder if we can get Naughty Nigel to call him Mr van Rumpy-Pumpy next time ...
