David Cameron's former SpAd convicted of making indecent photographs of children

One of David Cameron's former special advisors has escaped punishment after being convicted of child sex offences.

Patrick Robert John Rock de Bescombes faced 20 charges of possession of indecent images of underage girls which he downloaded at a golf club in America. It was investigated in the US but no charges were brought there as they didn't consider them pornographic. However, a jury here in England convicted him on 5 counts of making an indecent photograph of children, acquitted him on 3 counts and couldn't agree on the remaining 12.

The judge sentenced Rock to 2 years conditional discharge and 2 years on the sex offenders register, saying that his punishment was losing his reputation rather than prison.

Manchester Tory councillor arrested for child porn offences

A Conservative councillor and PPC in Manchester has been arrested for child pornography offences.

Cllr Matthew Sephton was Conservative PPC for Manchester Central in the last election and a former chairman of LGBTory. He has been suspended from his job as a primary school teacher and from the Conservative Party.

Despite being arrested yesterday there has been very little mention of it in the press.and certainly none of the rolling 24 hours news and front page headlines you'd expect if he was a UKIPper.

Disqualified Dudley Labour councillor charged with possessing child porn

A Labour councillor in Dudley who lost his seat earlier this year after failing to turn up to a meeting for 6 months has been charged with possession of child porn.

Derrick Hemingsley was first arrested in November last year and released on bail pending an investigation. He was suspended by the Labour Party but refused to give up his council seat, pocketing around £4,700 in allowances before he was disqualified.

He will appear before magistrates in Walsall in January.

12 year old Afghan orphan turns out to be Taliban supporting paedophile

A 12 year old orphan from Afghanistan has turned out to be a 21 year old Taliban supporter with a penchant for child porn.

Social services placed "Jamal" with a foster family, telling them he was a 12 year old orphan from Afghanistan but the family became suspicious when they saw how hairy he was and he stripped down a rifle at a firing range before expertly shooting it.

Dental checks confirmed that 12 year old "Jamal" was an adult and when arrested for an assault police found Taliban material and picture of child abuse on his mobile phone.

Thurrock Labour councillor arrested for possession of child porn

A Labour councillor in Thurrock has been arrested for alleged possession of child porn.

Terry Brookes was suspended by the local Labour Party who refused to explain the reason. BBC Essex reporter, Simon Dedman, broke the news this afternoon that Essex Police had arrested Brookes on suspicion of possessing indecent pictures of children a month ago.

Bury Labour Councillor charged with making child porn

A Labour councillor in Bury has appeared in court to face 16 charges of making indecent images of children.

Cllr Simon Carter has been charged with making child porn from 2011 to this year. He has been released on bail pending a future court appearance.

He has been suspended from the Labour Party pending the outcome of the investigation.

David Cameron's former chief adviser on internet porn filters has been charged with making and possessing child porn. The pictures of children as young as 10 were found on his iPad last year.

Patrick Rock was the British government's chief adviser on online porn filters until he was caught with the porn on his iPad. He didn't resign until 3 weeks after being caught and the Daily Mail had found out.

Oxford-educated lifelong Conservative and a member of the Norman aristocracy, Patrick Rock de Besombes was widely expected to be given a peerage before his arrest.

Conservative ex-Mayor of Weston-super-mare jailed for child porn

The Conservative former Mayor of Weston-super-mare has been given a 14 month prison sentence for possession of child pornography.

Philip Judd was still Mayor of Weston-super-mare and a school governor when he was arrested for possession of indecent photos of children last year.
