Jean-Claude Juncker says the UK will get no more changes to how the EU works

The unelected president of the EU Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, has announced that there will be no further renegotiation of the UK's relationship with the EU if we vote to stay in.

The British policy makers and British voters have to know that there will not be any kind of renegotiation.

We have concluded a deal with the prime minister, he got the maximum he could receive, we gave the maximum we could give.

So there will be no kind of renegotiation, nor on the agreement we found in February, nor as far as any kind of treaty negotiations are concerned.

David Cameron is still telling the public that voting to stay in the EU will give him a mandate to keep on negotiating with the EU, making references to the things he said he was going to make them agree to but didn't. This statement from Jean-Claude Juncker nips that neatly in the bud. There will be no more change other than what has been agreed in the illegal, non-binding memorandum that was published back in February and no treaty change to make it legal and binding.

Unelected president of EU Commission demands £1.65bn to pay for immigration policy

The unelected president of the EU Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, is demanding €2.25bn (£1.65bn) of funding to pay for the EU's disastrous immigration policy.

In a thinly veiled swipe at member states for not stumping up the cash they promised three weeks ago fast enough, Juncker said:

These pledges, in terms of staffing, in Greece and elsewhere, and generally – there is a significant amount of money not forthcoming, the member states are delaying the provision of the 2.25 billion which is still not available. That was a decision adopted on the 23rd of September. And now it’s a question of credibility – the credibility of the European Council and the member states as well, that they live up to their promises.

I guess £1.65bn is small change to someone who heads up institutions that loses tens of billions of pounds a year to fraud and waste.

Jean-Claude Juncker admits the UK doesn't need the EU

The unelected president of the EU Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, has admitted that the UK doesn't need the EU.

Juncker was heard saying:

I am 150 per cent in favour of having Britain as a constructive member state of the European Union. We need Britain. Personally I don’t think Britain needs European Union. But as a matter of conviction others might have a different feeling on that.

Nigel Farage has offered to buy Juncker a bottle of champagne for his comments.

Unelected president of the EU Commission says we won't leave the EU

Jean-Claude Juncker, the unelected president of the EU Commission, says that the UK won't vote to leave the EU and that David Cameron wants to tie us into the EU forever.

In an interview with German newspaper, Süddeutsche Zeitung, he said:

Brexit is not a question which arises, it’s not desired by the British. Cameron wants to dock his country permanently to Europe.

Juncker warned Hungary that they could be kicked out of the EU if they reintroduce the death penalty. There is no love lost between Juncker and the Hungarian prime minister with the unelected ruler of half a billion people greeting the elected prime minister of Hungary with the words "hello dictator".

The British people voted for David Cameron because he said he could reform the European Union? Oh, tres drôle!

David Cameron's utter humiliation

The former Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Jean-Claude Juncker, has been appointed president of  the EU Commission.

David Cameron made a big noise about opposing Juncker's appointment in an attempt to convince people of his eurosceptic credentials. He even said at one point that if Juncker was appointed president he would consider thinking about contemplating possibly maybe suggesting on a strictly non-committal and equivocal basis that he might possibly consider sort of suggesting that we might in the fullness of time and in the right circumstances consider possibly leaving the EU.

He was, of course, lying. Juncker's mission as president of the EU Commission will be to drive closer integration and remove more of our sovereignty. National vetoes and opt-outs will be abolished wherever possible and the drive for a United State of Europe will be made a priority. David Cameron was powerless to stop Juncker's appointment and he's powerless to change the direction of the EU. Any talk of leaving the EU is as empty as the promise he made to hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty and as empty as his promise to hold a referendum on our membership of the EU in 2017.

Desperate ECB president fails to inspire

The president of the EU Central Bank, Jean-Claude Trichet, is desperate for the most recent Greek bailout package to be approved, saying the implementation of the agreement to bail out Greece was "of essence".

Trichet was upbeat about the future of the EUro and the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Jean-Claude Juncker (who is chair of the EUrozone finance ministers), is confident that all the countries demanding collateral for their loans won't scupper the deal.

Nigel Farage was at the meeting and posted this comment to Facebook:

Trichet's speech did not inspire. Even in a room full of EU staffers it was met with silence. Do they know the game is up?

If Trichet can't even motivate a room full of rabid EUrophiles and EU/ECB employees then that doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

The EU said back in June that there is no Plan B where Greece is concerned, I hope for their sakes they were bluffing!
