Germany has only taken 10 immigrants under the mandatory relocation system it instigated

Angela Merkel's mandatory redistribution of illegal immigrants and refugees around the EU has fallen on its face just weeks after the EU Council of Ministers pushed it through under Qualified Majority Voting.

In six weeks, just 116 illegal immigrants and refugees have been relocated from Greece and Italy to elsewhere in the EU with Germany taking ten of them and France taking none.

So far, not even a quarter of the required places to meet targets have been made available across the 25 EU member states that signed up to give the EU the right to flood their country with illegal immigrants in the Treaty of Rome. The UK, Ireland and Denmark have opt-outs from this clause although the EU is trying to circumvent it with proposals to give illegal immigrants and refugees the same freedom of movement rights as citizens of EU countries, meaning they would be allowed to travel to the UK as soon as they've lodged their asylum claim.

£384m bill for Angela Merkel's disastrous immigration policies

Members of the EU Parliament have voted to defy national governments and increase the EU budget by £3bn to pay for the so-called "migrant crisis".

David Cameron made much of his "success" in demanding no increase in the EU budget and it only being increased by around £6bn. Every year we go through the same pantomime and every year the EU get more and more money.

According to Eurostat, the EU's own statistics agency, just 1 in 5 asylum seekers in the first half of this year were from Syria and fewer than half of all asylum seekers were from a country experiencing conflict. This hasn't stopped Angela Merkel from flooding the EU with illegal economic immigrants after making a false promise of welcoming unlimited numbers and then closing the borders a few days later, trapping hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers and illegal immigrants in countries along the way. This was the redistribution that Germany demanded but everyone else refused to take part in, achieved by deceit and criminally irresponsible behaviour.

The UK's share of the £3bn EU budget increase to pay for Angela Merkel's disastrous immigration policies is expected to be £384m.

Eurostat says just 1 in 5 asylum seekers are from Syria

The EU's statistics organisation, Eurostat, has released statistics for the second quarter of the year showing that just 1 in 5 asylum seekers entering the EU came from Syria.

Whilst 21% of asylum seekers coming into the EU during the second quarter of the year were from Syria, 18% were from non-EU countries in Europe (Albania, Kosovo, Ukraine and Serbia). 19% came from Iraq and Afghanistan and 9% came from Africa (Eritrea, Nigeria and Somalia). Another 4% came from Pakistan whilst 2% came from Russia. Less than half of all asylum seekers coming into the EU were from countries suffering conflict.

Statistics for this quarter probably won't be available until Christmas but should make interesting reading although how the authorities are going to count Syrians entering the EU is a bit of a mystery as the people coming over on boats throw their passports into the Mediterranean so they can't be sent back and their country of origin can't be proven.

Germany and Czech Republic reinstating border controls

The German and Czech governments have announced that they are reinstating border controls on their borders with Austria to try and stem the tide of illegal immigrants and asylum seekers making their way across Europe.

Angela Merkel's announcement that they would take an unlimited number of "refugees" has led to tens of thousands of people from the Middle East, north Africa and even as far away as Bangladesh making their way to Germany. The mayors of Germany's major cities have told the German government that they're full and any new arrivals will probably end up sleeping in the train station or on the streets.

The German government says that it won't open its borders again until the rest of the EU agrees to a "fair redistribution" of people claiming asylum. The message that they can no longer get to Germany will take a while to filter through to their countries of origin, creating a huge bottleneck in the rest of the EU and make the problem even worse for the countries on the migration route to Germany. It might even make things so bad in south and east Europe that the rest of the EU has no choice but to take them in for humanitarian and security reasons. Worryingly the German army is planning to house 1,000 Syrians in a barracks in northern Bavaria, putting weapons within reach of any ISIS terrorists that manage to smuggle themselves in with that group. You could almost believe that this was planned all along!

A new law comes into effect in Hungary tomorrow that will see anyone illegally crossing the newly-fortified Hungarian border put into prison.

Juncker wants to give hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers the right to work in the UK

Jean Claude Juncker, the unelected president of the EU Commission, has called for changes to asylum rules to allow people claiming asylum to do so in any EU member state, not just the one they arrive in. He also wants asylum seekers to be given the right to work as soon as they make their claim and for the 160,000 asylum seekers and illegal immigrants in Italy, Hungary and Greece to be redistributed around the EU.

Juncker went on to propose that countries that don't sign up to his EU quota system for asylum seekers and illegal immigrants should have to pay more into the EU budget as punishment and setting up a £1.5bn fund to give to the African governments that these people are supposedly fleeing from for their safety.

Nigel Farage told Juncker in the EU Parliament that he had got it wrong and that we would be mad to take the risk of ISIS terrorists getting into Europe with genuine refugees. The unelected president of the EU Commission responded by telling the elected MEP that his opinion was worthless.

David Cameron's response to Juncker's proposals was to announce that there is no limit to the number of asylum seekers, illegal immigrants and terrorists that can come to the UK.

Illegal immigrants rush riot police in Macedonia

Macedonia has become the latest country to face the tide of illegal immigrants and asylum seekers from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Macedonian riot police used truncheons, tear gas and razor wire to try and stop illegal immigrants travelling through Macedonia to get to Hungary where they can then travel without border checks to large swathes of the EU that stupidly signed up to the Schengen Treaty.

Over 40,000 illegal immigrants and asylum seekers have been registered illegally entering Macedonia from Greece in the last two months. Most of them have gone on to Serbia and then into Hungary where the border is being fortified to prevent them getting any further.

Almost 50,000 illegal immigrants and asylum seekers came from Turkey to Greece alone in July, bringing the total to 158,000 for the year. Another 90,000 have made it to Italy and the total estimate for the year so far is around 340,000. That's a city the size of Leicester making its way into Europe in just 7 months. If it continues at the same rate then by the end of the year that's a city the size of Nottingham and Leicester combined.

Germany complains about the number of asylum seekers their open doors policy is bringing them

The German government has revised up its estimate of the number of asylum seekers it expects to receive this year to 800k.

Thomas de Maizière, the German Interior Minister, called for "reform" of the Dublin Regulation, saying it was unfair for Germany to take 40% of the asylum seekers coming into Europe. When he says "reform" what he means, of course, is "change the system so it suits Germany" as is the case with most "reform" of EU regulations. They want to redistribute asylum seekers around the EU so everyone takes their "fair share".

As the Germans are behind the policy of not just letting unlimited numbers of asylum seekers, illegal immigrants and terrorists into Europe but actually laying on a ferry service to bring them here, it's only fair that Germany takes the lion's share of those that arrive. The Mediterranean countries like Greece and Italy are being swamped with illegal immigrants thanks to the German policy of ferrying them over to Europe so it's only fair that Germany should deal with the consequences.

Austria has threatened to take the EU Commission to the EU Courts if it tries to force a redistribution of asylum seekers whilst Slovakia said it will only accept Christian asylum seekers due to "security risks". The EU Commission says that they should show "solidarity" and get behind their "migration agenda" of flooding the continent with illegal immigrants from the middle east and beyond.
