Let's put the EU to the back of the queue and get on with Brexit

Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia have threatened to veto any trade deal with the UK that limits the right of their citizens to work in the UK.

More than 80% of our trade is domestic trade and just 8-9% is with the EU. That 8-9% of trade with the EU is subjected to an effective 7% tariff because of the cost of membership compared to just 3% under WTO rules.

Rather than wasting time trying to secure access to the expensive single market, the British government should be putting its efforts into securing new trade deals with countries that want to trade rather than play games. The cheap pound and renewed optimism of the UK being open for business again once we've left the EU has given a welcome boost to the UK's export markets and with the world's biggest and fastest growing economies lining up to negotiate trade deals we need to just put the EU to the back of the queue and face the future on our on terms.

Cameron told AGAIN that he can't restrict benefits for EU immigrants

The leaders of Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia have told David Cameron that they will block his futile attempts to stop immigrants claiming benefits until they've paid into the system for four years.

Although curbing immigration still remains one of Cameron's key promises despite spectacularly failing to prevent it rocketing over the last few years, he has dropped it from the list of "demands" for his sham renegotiation. He is instead pathetically trying to discourage people from wanting to move here by making them wait for benefits rather than defy the EU.

Germany and Czech Republic reinstating border controls

The German and Czech governments have announced that they are reinstating border controls on their borders with Austria to try and stem the tide of illegal immigrants and asylum seekers making their way across Europe.

Angela Merkel's announcement that they would take an unlimited number of "refugees" has led to tens of thousands of people from the Middle East, north Africa and even as far away as Bangladesh making their way to Germany. The mayors of Germany's major cities have told the German government that they're full and any new arrivals will probably end up sleeping in the train station or on the streets.

The German government says that it won't open its borders again until the rest of the EU agrees to a "fair redistribution" of people claiming asylum. The message that they can no longer get to Germany will take a while to filter through to their countries of origin, creating a huge bottleneck in the rest of the EU and make the problem even worse for the countries on the migration route to Germany. It might even make things so bad in south and east Europe that the rest of the EU has no choice but to take them in for humanitarian and security reasons. Worryingly the German army is planning to house 1,000 Syrians in a barracks in northern Bavaria, putting weapons within reach of any ISIS terrorists that manage to smuggle themselves in with that group. You could almost believe that this was planned all along!

A new law comes into effect in Hungary tomorrow that will see anyone illegally crossing the newly-fortified Hungarian border put into prison.

Czech Republic given opt-out from EU Charter of Fundamental Rights

The European Empire has agreed to give the Czech Republic an opt-out from the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights in an attempt to back Vaclav Klaus into a corner and get his signature on the Lisbon Treaty.

Despite the Czech Constitutional Court still considering a legal challenge to the Lisbon Treaty, the meeting of EU leaders this week will be pressing ahead to decide who they will crown as President of the European Empire as if the result of the Czech Constitutional Court's decision is either a forgone conclusion or an irrelevance.

So if the European Empire is happy to "prejudice" the decision of the Czech Constitutional Court by openly discussing the appointment of an EU President, why won't Dave Camoron "prejudice" the decision by telling us what he's going to do when Vaclav Klaus signs the Lisbon Treaty and the EU Constitution is forced on us?

MEPs Walk Out On Vaclav Klaus

MEPs deaf to ideas not theirs?

At a meeting of the European Parliament today, 19th February, MEPs inculding the Labour Party booed a speech by Vaclav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic, walking out to show their disgust. Yet this speech has been described as one of the best speeches ever given in the European Parliament, one that called for real debate over the meaning of Europe and the European Union.

An example of the reaction to this speech is Avril Doyle, a particularly fine example of Euro-MP mindset, who attacked President Klaus, her voice trembling, for trying to influence a second Irish referendum (although it is now heard from parliament staff that she was objecting to leaflets not the speech) .

Debate is a "recipe for chaos in our corridors", she screeched. (our emphasis)

"Please ensure that the bureau (the parliament's administration) does not allow it to happen again."

Other reactions to the speech can be read here.

The text of Vaclav Klaus' speech can be found here and the reaction of Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Independence Party, to the walk out can be seen here. Also one from Goddersvision.

EU not-a-constitution faces more challenges

The Polish president has re-iterated that he will not sign the Lisbon Treaty unless the Irish vote yes in the second referendum in the autumn.

The German Constitutional Court is also holding an unusually long hearing into whether the EU not-a-constitution breaches the German constitution.

The anti-democrats in the EU are being hit with problem after problem with the EU not-a-constitution but still they battle on, oblivious to the mass opposition throughout the continent. The French voted no and the Dutch voted no so they repackaged the constitution into a new treaty and the treacherous French and Dutch governments ratified it without another referendum. The British government knew that we would vote no so they refused to hold the promised referendum. The Irish voted no so they have to have another referendum to see if they can come up with the "right" answer next time.

Our future as an independent nation lies in the hands of the Irish people, the Polish and Czech presidents and now the German Constitutional Court. And in the upcoming elections people will still vote for the LibLabCon coalition that has got us in this state in the first place.

They call this ART??

A real gem of a story emerged yesterday regarding the Czech Republic’s celebration of its Presidency of the EU. The Czech Government had commission a work of art to celebrate its historic first turn ‘in charge’ of the EU, as it takes the reins of the EU Presidency for the next 6 months.

According to The Times £350,000 in funding has been given to this project, in part earmarked to pay the 27 different artists, each from the 27 EU Member States. These artists were meant to create a map of Europe showing what each country really feels about its place in Europe. However, the Czech presidency website states it is renting the artwork at a cost of €50,000 for the six months of their presidency.

Eyebrows were raised when the artwork ‘Entropa’ (all eight-tonnes of it) first appeared in the Council Building, most notably because the UK no longer appeared on the map, but it was only after Bulgaria (depicted as a Turkish lavatory) complained that the truth has been revealed.

It transpires that the organiser of the project, artist David Cerny, designed and created the whole thing himself and invented the names of the ‘up-and-coming’ artists who were meant to be responsible for the representation of their respective countries.

Mr Cerny had apparently described the UK’s omission from the map as resulting from the fact that Britain did not want to be part of Europe, and he has depicted France by covering it in a banner with one word placed upon it - ‘Strike!’

Nigel Farage, the leader of the UK Independence Party, said: It's wonderful, terrific: the designers are obviously forward planners because they recognise the fact that Britain will not continue to be part of this political union.

Whatever you might think about the art it is certainly symbolic of the EU’s attitude towards money!

Happy New Year

We would like to wish our readers a very Happy New Year and for all those right-thinking people out there that see the EU federal project for what it is, take heart: the Czech presidency of the EU starting tomorrow should be a very interesting one if President Vaclav Klaus has anything to do with it!

2009 is probably the last chance we have to stop the EU federal project. By the time the next elections come round, Ireland will have been bullied into ratifying the EU Constitution, eurosceptic political parties will be banned and dissent against Federal Europe will be outlawed.

Forget the eurofederalist LibLabCon coalition, UKIP is the only party committed to withdrawing from the EU, culling quangos and replacing the nanny state with a hands-off government.

Happy New Year.
