With absolutely no sense of irony whatsoever, the Labour Party have appointed John "Two Jags" Prescott as climate change advisor to Ed Miliband.
Millionaire class warrior, Baron Prescott of Kingston upon Hull in the County of Yorkshire, was the EU's lead negotiator at Kyoto where the global warming scam went global and has a wealth of experience of impoverishing millions in the name of changing the weather.
Lord Prescott is best remembered for punching a reporter in the face, having two chauffeur driven Jags and somehow managing to convince someone other than his wife to have sex with him.

EU plans to halve power of vacuum cleaners
Hot on the heels of the abortive attempt to ban olive oil in resealable bottle, the EU is now planning to ban 2,000 watt vacuum cleaners and introduce a limit of just 900 watts.
Climate change targets are behind this of course - the EU reckons that they can reduce electricity consumption in 2.3m homes if they make their vacuum cleaners useless. The irony, of course, is that we've just had the coldest spring for over 50 years and reports from the Met Office and IPCC confirm that there has been no global warming for two decades.
It doesn't take a genius to see that if you reduce the power of a vacuum cleaner's motor by more than half then it's not going to be as effective. Just like many people have had to supplement their ceiling lights with lamps because energy saving bulbs aren't as good as the incandescent bulbs the EU has banned, many will use their vacuum cleaner more often because a 900 watt vacuum cleaner doesn't do as good a job at cleaning as a 2,000 watt cleaner which kicks the supposed energy saving "benefits" into touch.

Climate change religion is falling apart
A Populus poll conducted for BBC News has shown a marked increase in the number of people who don't believe in the global warming climate change CO2 pollution religion.
Just 3 months ago 41% of people believed in man-made climate change, now only 26% believe. 38% believe that climate change is not proven to be man-made when 3 months ago only 32% held that opinion. Three months ago 8% of people thought man-made climate change was environmentalist propaganda, that figure has now risen to 10%.
Worryingly, the number of people who think climate change is not happening at all has gone up from 15% three months ago to 25%. I say worryingly because the climate is changing, just as it has for billions of years!
Overall, this is excellent news. The wheels are falling off the global warming wagon as more and more people see through the lies, dishonesty and propaganda.

Gordon is leading the EU, apparently
The British Climate Change Minister, Joan Ruddock, was interviewed this morning on BBC Breakfast from the Copenhagen World Government Climate Change Conference.
Throughout the 5 minute interview she talked constantly about the European Empire - the offers it has made, the deals it has done, the laws it has passed, the promises it has made and of course, Gordon Brown is leading it (seriously, she said Gordon Brown was leading the EU at Copenhagen!). When asked what the British government was doing she went straight back to the European Empire again.
The reason? We are entirely in the hands of the European Empire as far as this charade goes because when Gordon Brown signed the Lisbon Treaty/EU Constitution, he gave the EU unlimited and exclusive control over "combatting climate change" without a national veto. If the EU issued a directive saying all cows had to be ritually sacrificed and used to build a bridge over the Channel and the entire population were allowed to eat nothing but lettuce and celery, the British government would be legally obliged to carry it out.

Nick Griffin to represent EU in Copenhagen
The sad news that the Lisbon Treaty/EU Constitution comes into force today, ending the 1,082 year history of England as an independent, unified state is made slightly more palatable by the news that the Peoples Republic of the EU will be represented at the Copenhagen Global Socialist Government Climate Change Summit by Nick Griffin.
Not only is Nick Griffin a man-made climate change sceptic but he's also a bumbling, racist embarrassment and the European Empire's first major summit as a country in its own right will see a nationalist socialist representing it. You couldn't make it up.
Meanwhile, the leader of the Green Party said:
He is one of a number of members of the European Parliament who will go on a delegation. He won't get the right to speak. The Parliament sadly doesn't even get the right to really influence the decisions at al.
What good EUropeans the Green Party are. As the leader of a pro-EU party, you'd have thought that Caroline Lucas would have realised that the Peoples Republic of the European Empire now has complete, unvetoed control over climate change policy for all member states.

UKIP sense vs. Green insanity.
Firstly, I would like to quickly say how happy I am to be a part of Bloggers4UKIP. I think it is a great project that I hope I can now help take to the next level.
In my opinion one of UKIP's greatest assets is the people within it. This is a party built on the back of individuals of integrity and principle. That may seem a very partisan thing to say, but when you compare the workings of UKIP to the corporate structure of the three old Parties, they are traits that have become all too rare. I think, to be fair, the Green Party is built by principled people who at least legitimately believe in something. They probably have more integrity than most LibLabCon politicians, too. Unfortunately for them, they miss a very necessary third trait: the common sense that can only be found within those who live in the real world.
David Campbell Bannerman, UKIP Deputy Leader and lead Eastern Countries candidate in the European Elections, recently challenged Green Party Leader Caroline Lucas as to whether she thought someone flying to Spain for a holiday was as bad as stabbing someone in the street. Yes, she replied, it was. It was in that moment, pushed by someone with a sensible grasp of what does and doesn't matter for people living in the real world, that Lucas totally exposed herself and her Party.
What is sickening is that in many parts of Britain, areas are now blighted by young people stabbing and killing each other. For Lucas to compare this to flying for a well-deserved family holiday goes beyond absurdity, and is really quite offensive. It is amazing how often UKIP get the accusation of representing a minority opinion in British politics. Yet on occasions such as this, can there be any doubt that UKIP, thanks to to the people within it, have their fingers on the pulse unlike any other party? Just how many people would support Lucas' statement compared to the amazed reaction of David Campbell Bannerman?
The Party has also proven to have its finger on the pulse like no other Party on issues like education and of course the European Union. Unlike the three old Parties, when those standing on a UKIP platform claim to be standing up for the wishes of ordinary people who are unrepresented in the political process, we can back it up with the policies that make the Party a true alternative voice in British politics. It is one that is badly needed.
To watch David Campbell Bannerman expose Caroline Lucas, go here and fast forward to 14:09.

EU to cause Winter heating crisis for thousands of pensioners
"The EU's climate change package debated yesterday (16.12.08) in the European Parliament is not merely wrong but potentially lethal", said Jeffrey Titford, the UK Independence Party MEP for the Eastern Counties."With December in Britain already being described as the coldest for thirty years, and significant hikes in fuel bills already in place, the idea of the European Union adding enormous increases to carbon taxes, via its 'Cap and Trade' system, is not merely misguided but downright dangerous.
"Figures from the Office for National Statistics, tell us that during last Winter in the UK we lost 22,400 pensioners over and above the statistical norm - what they call 'Excess Winter Mortality’. A significant proportion of these will be from the Eastern Counties. Of course, what we are really talking about here is not just another statistic but people's loved ones - parents and grandparents".
According to Gordon Lishman, Director General of Age Concern: “It is a national scandal that we have a higher number of excess Winter deaths than every other country in Europe . With this Winter set to be colder than the last‚ the numbers are likely to rise". He added: "The impact of increased energy bills is causing thousands to risk their health by cutting back on heating".
The uncritical acceptance of the climate change agenda by the EU is causing major shortfalls in our energy generating capacity as coal fired power stations are forced to close. According to the CapGemini Report, the European Energy Markets Observatory, published in November: “ From 2013, 100% of the Emission Rights will be auctioned to the power sector, which currently gets most of them free of charge. This change will result in tens of billions of euros/pounds in extra cost for the utilities, which will certainly be passed on in the electricity prices".
" Britain cannot afford these extra costs, which are being driven by an outmoded and scientifically dubious panic about climate change. Worse still, what is bad for Britain could be fatal to thousands of pensioners", said Mr Titford.
